Frequently Asked Questions

- How a project starts: brief, feasibility, sample, pilot, bulk
- MOQ, sampling and typical lead times per stage
- Formula ownership, exclusivity and what documentation you receive
The questions below are the ones buyers ask most often before a first order. If yours is not here, send it through the contact form and we will answer it directly rather than send a brochure.
Ordering and minimum order quantity
What is your MOQ? Our standard MOQ is 100 pieces per SKU, rising to 500 for custom packaging, 1,000 for a custom formula and 3,000 for a full turnkey project. Pilot runs from 1–5 kg are available so a project can be validated before a bulk commitment. For formula and market testing we also accept trial orders from 10 pieces, quoted per SKU. The MOQ guide explains what moves the figure up or down.
Can you produce under my own brand? Yes — that is the default. We manufacture for your brand and do not market finished products under our own label.
Sampling and lead times
How long does a sample take? Stock samples ship in 2-3 working days. Samples produced with your own label take about 7 working days after the design is confirmed. Pilot batches add 7–12 working days. Bulk production runs 5–10 calendar days depending on dosage form — small custom runs move faster: 100 pieces with your logo in about 7 days, 500 with custom packaging in about 15, 1,000 with a custom formula in about 30, and 3,000-piece turnkey projects in 35–45 days.
Do you charge for samples? Sample and courier costs are quoted per project and are normally credited against the first bulk order.
Formulas and ownership
Do I own the formula? If you supply it, yes without qualification. If it is developed for you, ownership terms are agreed in writing before sampling begins.
Can I get an exclusive formula? For ODM formulas, exclusivity can be negotiated against committed volume. Our ODM page explains the trade-off.
Packaging and labelling
Can you supply packaging? Yes, across bottles, jars, sachets, stick packs, blisters and cartons. See packaging solutions.
Will you check my label? We review artwork for printability and for the mandatory label elements your market requires, before plates are made.
Documentation and compliance
What documents come with a shipment? Certificate of Analysis, Material Safety Data Sheet, specification sheet, nutritional panel, allergen statement, certificate of origin, and a health certificate where the market requires one. See export documentation.
Can you register the product in my country? No. Registration normally requires a local entity. We supply the manufacturing and facility documentation that goes into your submission — see regulatory support.
Payment terms
What payment terms do you offer? Alibaba Trade Assurance, bank telegraphic transfer (T/T) and letters of credit (L/C) are all supported, so your payment is protected through the platform or your bank. Specific terms are set per order based on order value and cooperation stage, and are stated in the quotation.
Company, shipping and shelf life
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company? We are a combined manufacturer and exporter: two production bases covering 14,000 sqm with 200+ employees, 12 dosage forms, 6 core production lines and exports to 100+ countries. You buy directly from the source, not through a middleman.
Which shipping terms (Incoterms) do you support? EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF. Goods move by express (DHL / UPS / FedEx), air or sea freight. You can nominate your own freight forwarder in China, or we can arrange the full shipment for you.
What is the shelf life, and how should products be stored? Typical shelf life is 24 months, depending on the formula; the exact figure for each product is on its label and Certificate of Analysis. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
