Active Loading — What Each Format Can Carry
Active loading is the practical limit on how much of an ingredient a single unit can hold. Where the requested dose exceeds the format’s practical capacity, we advise a change of format rather than accepting a specification we cannot make consistently.

Standard practice is to combine formats where a dose cannot fit — for example, a gummy plus a capsule in a daily pack — or to split the dose across multiple units. We will advise which route works for your label claim.

Some formulas need grams of active per serve. We adjust piece weight and base system rather than forcing the actives to fit a fixed benchmark — the standard 4 g gummy is our default, not a ceiling.
Unpleasant tastes and odours
Fish oil, sulphur-based actives and bitter botanicals are masked with encapsulation, flavour systems and coating.
Moisture and oxygen sensitivity
Probiotics, omega-3 and vitamin C are protected with barrier films, opaque shells and low-humidity processing.
Vegetarian and halal requirements
Pectin gummies, HPMC capsules and vegetarian softgel shells replace gelatin without changing the consumer experience.

Sampling: pilot samples are produced in 2-3 working days after specification confirmation. Samples are produced on production equipment, not laboratory bench scale, so the sample you approve reflects what will be manufactured in bulk.

Gummies (vitamin C 60–250 mg, zinc 5–15 mg) or capsules (elderberry, echinacea, beta-glucan). Gummies retail higher but need flavour masking for zinc’s metallic taste; capsules avoid it.
Beauty & Collagen
Collagen peptides ship as powder or stick pack (2,500–10,000 mg per serve) — the effective dose exceeds any solid unit. Biotin and hyaluronic acid are delivered as capsules or gummies at lower doses.
Sports & Performance
Creatine, BCAA and electrolytes favour powder and stick pack for dose practicality. Some lines add a smaller creatine dose to a gummy for convenience, accepting a lower dose per unit.
Sleep & Stress
Melatonin gummies (1–10 mg) and magnesium capsules (100–400 mg) are the two highest-volume formats. L-theanine and ashwagandha are commonly combined in a capsule or two-layer tablet.
Digestive Health
Probiotics need protection from moisture and heat, so capsule (including delayed-release) dominates. Enzyme blends are usually capsules; prebiotic fibre ships as powder or stick pack.
Children’s Health
Almost entirely gummy, chewable or syrup. Custom shapes, fruit flavours and sugar-free options are the key levers; dosage is kept low per unit to stay within recommended intake.
From Sample to Bulk — What Stays the Same
A common concern when sourcing overseas is whether bulk production will match the sample that was approved. Our process is designed so that it does.

If a bulk batch deviates from the approved sample beyond specification tolerance, it is not released. Where a customer requests a specification change after sampling, we re-sample rather than adjust the bulk batch — the approved sample is the contract.
