Most supplement manufacturers answer “what is your MOQ?” with “send your requirement and we will confirm”. That is a real answer, but it is not a useful one — you cannot plan a launch around it. So here is ours, published.
Standard MOQ: 100 pieces per SKU

IN-HOUSE CAPABILITY
Minimum Order Quantity and Sampling
There is no single MOQ figure here, because the honest answer depends on the dosage form, the fill weight, the packaging format and the ingredient itself. A gummy line and a softgel line do not carry the same minimum, and a novel active sourced for the first time changes the picture again.
- Handled by our own team in Zhengzhou, not brokered out
- Documented at every step and released against a written specification
- Pilot-scale trial before you commit to a bulk order
Our standard minimum order quantity is 100 pieces per SKU. That applies when you take one of our 1,000+ mature formulas and run it under your own label in our standard packaging — the lowest-effort, fastest route to a sellable product.
If you are testing a market before committing, trial orders from 10 pieces are accepted on selected mature formulas.
MOQ by level of customisation
| What you are ordering | What changes | MOQ (pieces per SKU) |
|---|---|---|
| Your label only | One of our mature formulas, our standard packaging, your artwork | 100 |
| Your packaging | A different bottle, jar, pouch, sachet or carton format, including printed cartons | 500 |
| Your formula | Reformulation, different actives or dosages, a new flavour or a new dosage form | 1,000 |
| Full turnkey | Formula, packaging, regulatory pack and artwork developed together, delivered ready to sell | 3,000 |
The ladder is not a sales construct. Each step adds work that has to be amortised across a production run: a new formula needs development, a stability check and a pilot batch; a new packaging format needs tooling or a print run; a new dosage form needs a line changeover. Spreading that work over a larger run is what keeps the unit price where you need it.
What moves your MOQ up or down
- Formula status — one of our mature formulas sits at the bottom of the ladder; a development project from a blank sheet sits near the top.
- Packaging format — stock bottles and standard sachets carry no tooling cost. Custom shapes, custom closures and printed cartons do.
- How many SKUs are in the order — two SKUs at 100 pieces each is a smaller total run than one SKU at 1,000, and we quote it that way.
- Formulation and dosage — very high active loads, or a format that only runs on one line, reduce the units we can produce per hour.
- Market requirements — a market that needs specific labelling, an import licence or a notified registration adds preparation work, but not necessarily units.
How to lower your MOQ
- Start on a mature formula and move to your own formula once the product is selling.
- Keep the first order in our standard packaging and change the pack on the second run.
- Combine your launch range into a single order instead of placing several small orders.
- Order a sample or a pilot batch first, confirm the specification, then commit to a full run.
Samples and pilot batches
Samples of mature formulas are produced in 2-3 working days after the specification is confirmed, and they are made on production equipment rather than laboratory bench scale — so the sample you approve reflects what will be manufactured in bulk. Custom-label samples take longer, because your artwork has to be proofed before the run.
For powder and liquid projects we also run pilot batches from 1–5 kg, so you can test taste, mouthfeel and blending behaviour before committing to full production.
What to send us for a firm MOQ
Your MOQ depends on four things. Tell us all four and we can confirm it in a single exchange:
- The dosage form — gummy, softgel, capsule, tablet, powder, liquid, drops, oral film, sachet, effervescent or solid beverage
- Whether you want one of our mature formulas, or your own
- The packaging format, and whether the artwork is yours
- Your target market, because labelling requirements differ by country
We will come back with the MOQ, the unit price at your quantity, and the lead time — confirmed together, in writing.
Why we publish this
A buyer who knows the entry point can decide whether we are the right partner before spending time on a call. A published MOQ also protects both sides: it means the quotation you receive will not move later because a hidden minimum turned up halfway through the project.
Lead time is quoted with your quotation and confirmed before production begins. If anything changes, we tell you in advance rather than letting you find out at the port.
Request a quotation — include the four details above and you will get MOQ, price and lead time together.

HOW IT WORKS
How MOQ Is Actually Set
MOQ is quoted per dosage form and per packaging format once we can see the specification. Pilot runs from 1–5 kg are available so a project can be validated on real production equipment before a bulk commitment is made. The specification is locked in writing before bulk production starts.
- MOQ quoted per dosage form and pack format, never blanket
- Pilot batches from 1–5 kg available
- Bench sample first, then pilot, then bulk

Send the dosage form, fill weight and pack format. We reply with a concrete MOQ, not a range from a brochure.
