Joint Health Supplement Manufacturing — Your Formula, Our Line

We manufacture Joint Health products on our partner lines in Zhengzhou, China. Bring a finished formula, a target active level or a rough concept, and we convert it into a specification we can run in bulk — combination blends and delivery format included.

  • Collagen, botanical and mineral combinations made to your brief
  • Capsule, tablet and powder formats
  • Wide capsules for larger combination loads

Joint, cartilage and mobility formulas in tablet, capsule, powder and drink-mix formats — at doses that reflect what the evidence supports.

Why Joint Formulas Are Dose-Bound

Joint health is one of the few supplement categories where the published evidence points to a specific daily dose range. Glucosamine and chondroitin studies typically use 1,200–1,500 mg and 800–1,200 mg a day respectively. That is a real number, and it does not fit comfortably into a single small tablet or a gummy.

The consequence is that the honest formats for this category are capsules taken in multiples, larger tablets, or powders. A brand that insists on a single small serving will end up either under-dosing or splitting the dose across several units — both of which have to be reflected on the label.

The second issue is absorption. Turmeric and curcumin are notoriously poorly absorbed, which is why standardised extracts and absorption-enhancing systems matter more here than in most categories. The label claim and the delivery system have to be designed together.

Joint Product Lines: Pick Your Route

Joint health is a dose-bound category — the real decision is the ratio and the format. Pick the route before you lock the dose.

Collagen Route — Collagen Peptides

The mobility route with the broadest demographic. Powder-led, high daily dose, strong repeat purchase in Asia and North America.

Glucosamine Route — Glucosamine + Chondroitin

The classic joint-pair route for an ageing buyer. Tablet-led, long-established, trusted in the EU and Japan.

Bone-Joint Crossover — Vitamin D3 + K2

The crossover route — bone density and joint comfort in one. Pairs with calcium for a premium two-in-one.

Formats We Run for This Category

  • Tablets — the traditional format for glucosamine and chondroitin combinations, allowing a multi-gram daily dose across two or three units
  • Hard capsules — for MSM, turmeric and smaller single-actives
  • Powder and drink mixes — collagen peptides and joint-support blends where a large dose is taken in liquid
  • Gummies — suitable for a consumer-friendly turmeric or collagen product, with a lower ceiling on each active
  • Softgels — for oil-based actives such as certain omega combinations

Actives We Already Work With

Glucosamine sulphate and hydrochloride, chondroitin sulphate, hydrolysed collagen peptides (types I and II), turmeric and curcumin (including standardised and enhanced-absorption forms), MSM, hyaluronic acid, rosehip extract, boswellia and omega-3 combinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a realistic dose for glucosamine and chondroitin?

Published studies generally use in the region of 1,200–1,500 mg of glucosamine and 800–1,200 mg of chondroitin a day. That drives the serving size, which is why most joint products in this class are capsules taken two or three times a day rather than a single small tablet.

Can you make a joint health gummy?

For turmeric or collagen, yes, within the format’s ceiling. For a full glucosamine and chondroitin stack at clinical doses, a gummy is not the right vehicle and we will tell you so rather than accept the order and let you discover it later.

Do you work with standardised turmeric extracts?

Yes, including enhanced-absorption forms. Curcumin is poorly absorbed in its native state, so the extract specification and the delivery system have to be decided together with the claim you intend to make.

Is there a vegetarian glucosamine option?

Yes. Glucosamine is normally shellfish-derived, so a vegetarian positioning requires a different source or a different active. We will confirm what is available at quotation stage.

What about collagen for joint versus skin?

The peptide type and dose differ. Type II collagen is the usual choice for joint-positioned products; a broader hydrolysed collagen is typical for skin and beauty lines. We run both — see the collagen peptide page.
