Drops are a concentrated, precision-dose format that fits in a pocket and delivers actives one drop at a time — ideal for vitamin D3 and K2, oil-based actives and herbal tinctures where the consumer wants exact control. Hubogen produces drop lines in-house with calibrated dropper or pipette closures. As a supplement drops manufacturer, Hubogen offers oil-based and water-based liquid drops OEM.

Why brands choose drops

  • Precise dosing — a calibrated dropper lets the consumer dial the exact serving.
  • Very high concentration — small volume carries a large active load.
  • Tasteless option — actives in MCT oil can be added to any drink.
  • Compact and travel-friendly — a 30 ml bottle is a month-plus supply.
  • Premium impression — glass bottle with pipette reads as high quality.

Format at a glance

  • Volume — 10 / 15 / 30 / 50 ml.
  • Carrier — MCT, olive, sunflower or aqueous base.
  • Closure — glass pipette or calibrated dropper cap.
  • Dose control — set per drop, per serving.
  • Options — flavoured or unflavoured, amber or clear glass.

Specification range

Typical volumes are 10 ml, 15 ml, 30 ml and 50 ml in amber or clear glass with a dropper pipette, or PET with a calibrated dropper cap. Carriers include MCT oil, olive oil, sunflower oil or aqueous base. Concentration is set by dose per drop and total servings per bottle.

Typical applications

Vitamin D3 and K2 drops, vitamin A and E oils, botanical oil extracts, herbal tinctures, oregano and black seed oil drops, melatonin drops, vitamin B12 drops, and essential-oil blends for oral use.

What decides whether a project runs smoothly

  • Dose per drop vs per ml — if the label says drops, drop size must be controlled; it changes with viscosity and tip.
  • Dropper and bottle compatibility — glass and PET droppers are not interchangeable.
  • Preservative or alcohol-free — alcohol-free is harder to preserve and limits which actives can be carried.
  • Leakage in transit — dropper bottles are the most likely to arrive wet; decide closure early.
  • Concentration — small volume means small errors become large dose errors; confirm analytically.

Sourcing and specification notes

  • Dropper accuracy is a product feature, not a packaging detail — drop size determines the delivered dose.
  • Alcohol-free and alcohol-based carriers differ in taste, preservation and label claims.
  • Concentrated actives can precipitate at low temperature; choose the solvent system to hold them in solution.
  • Glass, PET and HDPE bottles each have different barrier and compatibility profiles.
  • Child-resistant closures and tamper evidence are market-specific requirements.

Quality and shelf life

Drops are released against fill weight, drop size and concentration — measured on the finished pack, because viscosity and surface tension change the delivered volume. Highly concentrated products can precipitate at low temperature, so stability is checked against expected transit conditions. Shelf life is confirmed per formulation, stated on the spec sheet.
