CoQ10 Supplement Manufacturing — Your Formula, Our Line

We manufacture CoQ10 products on our partner lines in Zhengzhou, China. Bring a finished formula, a target active level or a rough concept, and we convert it into a specification we can run in bulk — oil-suspension and powder grades included.

  • Oil-suspension softgels and powder-filled capsules
  • Softgel fill weight from 250 mg to 1,500 mg
  • Light-protective packaging as standard

Ubiquinone and ubiquinol, water-dispersible or oil-suspended — the crystal form decides which format is even possible.

Why the CoQ10 Grade Decides the Format

CoQ10 has two commercially distinct forms, and the form determines almost everything downstream. Three decisions decide your format.

The Grade

CoQ10 has two commercially distinct forms. Ubiquinone is the oxidised form — poorly absorbed unless delivered in oil or a water-dispersible grade. Ubiquinol is the reduced form, more absorbable per milligram and materially more expensive, used at roughly half the ubiquinone dose.

Grade Follows Format

A softgel filled with oil is the natural home for plain ubiquinone. A hard capsule needs a water-dispersible or self-emulsifying grade; a clear liquid needs a solubilised grade; a gummy needs an emulsion system and careful taste work. The format decides the grade.

Oxidation State

Ubiquinol is sensitive to oxidation and degrades into ubiquinone over time and under heat. That makes stability testing essential if you declare ubiquinol — we assay the oxidation state at release and through shelf life rather than assuming it holds.

Formats We Run

Softgels

oil fill, 50–300 mg, the most reliable absorption for plain crystalline ubiquinone

Hard capsules

HPMC or gelatin, using a water-dispersible or self-emulsifying grade

Liquid

10–1,000 ml, needs a solubilised grade and careful protection from light and heat

Chewables and gummies

4 g unit weight, 30–100 mg per piece, requires an emulsion system and strong flavour work

Powder and stick packs

3–30 g servings, water-dispersible grade blended into a flavoured drink

Tablets

compressed and film-coated where a water-dispersible grade allows it

What We Check Before Release

CoQ10 assay confirmed against your specification

CoQ10 assay confirmed against your specification, on the finished product rather than the raw material alone

Oxidation state confirmed

Oxidation state confirmed, especially for ubiquinol, at release and through shelf life

Water dispersibility or self-emulsifying…

Water dispersibility or self-emulsifying behaviour verified in the actual format Heavy metals and microbiological limits on the finished product

Light and heat protection in the pack

Light and heat protection in the pack, since CoQ10 is light-sensitive and heat degrades ubiquinol Taste, colour and texture through shelf life in chewable and gummy formats

Sourcing and Specification Notes

Ubiquinone and ubiquinol are both available

Ubiquinone and ubiquinol are both available, with ubiquinol costing materially more per unit of activity

Water-dispersible and self-emulsifying g…

Water-dispersible and self-emulsifying grades cost more than standard crystalline material and unlock capsule formats Fermentation-derived material is the standard route; yeast-fermented ubiquinol is the premium option

Because ubiquinol oxidises back to ubiquinone

Because ubiquinol oxidises back to ubiquinone, we test the oxidation state rather than trusting the incoming label We will flag any market where the permitted CoQ10 dose or claim differs from your intended position

One Thing Buyers Get Wrong

Putting crystalline ubiquinone in a hard capsule. Dry crystalline powder absorbs poorly. If the format is a capsule, the grade has to be water-dispersible or self-emulsifying, and that changes the price before it changes anything else. Declaring ubiquinol without measuring oxidation. Ubiquinol converts to ubiquinone over shelf life. A product that has converted no longer supports the label, so we assay the oxidation state at release and through stability. Choosing ubiquinol for cost reasons. Ubiquinol is used at roughly half the ubiquinone dose because it is better absorbed, but it costs considerably more per milligram. The per-serving cost comparison is not obvious from the raw-material price, so we price both routes side by side.

Popular Formulas We Run

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order quantity for CoQ10 softgels?

MOQ is confirmed per format and specification at quotation stage. Grade, strength, softgel size and packaging all move the figure — send us the target and we will quote exactly.

Do you supply ubiquinol as well as ubiquinone?

Yes. Ubiquinol is better absorbed per milligram and used at roughly half the ubiquinone dose, but it costs materially more. We will price both and show you the per-serving comparison rather than just the raw-material cost.

Which grade do I need for a capsule?

A water-dispersible or self-emulsifying grade. Plain crystalline ubiquinone in a dry hard capsule absorbs poorly, which is why the grade, not the capsule, is the decision that matters.

Can CoQ10 go into a gummy?

Yes, at 30–100 mg per 4 g piece, using an emulsion system. CoQ10 has a distinctive taste and a strong colour, so the flavour system and the appearance both have to be designed around it. We sample before you commit.

How do you handle ubiquinol stability?

We assay the oxidation state at release and through accelerated shelf life, because ubiquinol converts to ubiquinone over time. If the conversion is material under your pack, we will tell you and adjust the shelf life or the overage.

How long does bulk production take?

We reply to enquiries within 24 hours and send a quotation within 48. Samples take 2-3 days, and standard bulk runs complete in 5–10 days with packaged goods leaving in 10–15 days.

DOSAGE FORMS

Which format should your CoQ10 product take?

The same CoQ10 blend can be delivered in several forms, and each one changes the fill weight, the taste profile and the tooling. We produce softgel and capsule in-house, so the choice is driven by your market rather than by what a third party can supply.
