Iron Supplement Manufacturer
The salt chosen for gentleness — elemental-versus-salt arithmetic and oxidation handled up front.

INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT
Iron Supplement Manufacturing — Gentle, Absorbable, Built to Your Spec
We manufacture Iron products on our partner lines in Zhengzhou, China. Bring a finished formula, a target elemental-iron load or a positioning — women’s health, energy or prenatal support — and we convert it into a specification we can run in bulk.
- Ferrous bisglycinate, fumarate, sulfate and other salts to your formula
- Tablet, capsule, gummy and liquid formats
- Elemental iron declared against your specification
Iron is the mineral that separates a comfortable supplement from one consumers abandon. The salt you choose decides absorption, the gastrointestinal side effects and the label claim — which is why the conversation always starts with the salt, not the milligram count.

Why the Salt Matters More Than the Milligrams
Almost every iron buyer is really choosing a salt. Three decisions decide whether the gentle position holds.
The Salt
Buyers are really choosing a salt. Ferrous bisglycinate is the modern gentle option; fumarate packs the most elemental iron and is the women’s-health workhorse; sulfate is cheapest but carries the strongest GI complaint.
Elemental vs Salt
A label claiming 18 mg iron means 18 mg elemental, but the salt behind it can be two to five times heavier. This is the single most common labelling error we catch in inbound artwork.
Oxidation
Iron discolors and can go rancid in gummies and liquids if not protected, so the format and the coating or encapsulation system must be chosen together.
Formats We Run
Tablets
compressed and film-coated, 15–30 mg elemental, the women’s-health standard
Hard capsules
HPMC or gelatin, gentle salts like bisglycinate
Gummies
pectin base, 5–10 mg elemental per piece, flavour-masked against metallic taste
Liquids
100–500 ml bottles, using a soluble salt and an antioxidant system

One Thing Buyers Get Wrong
Confusing salt weight with elemental weight. 18 mg elemental iron may be 90 mg of bisglycinate or 55 mg of fumarate. We build the artwork from the elemental figure. Picking sulfate for a gentle-positioned product. Sulfate is cheap but the nausea and constipation complaints destroy repeat purchase. A gentle claim needs a gentle salt. Ignoring the metallic taste in gummies. Iron tastes metallic. A gummy needs a real flavour mask, not a standard fruit profile.
Who This Serves: Women Across Life Stages
Iron is a repeat-purchase product for women, and the first-use experience decides the re-order. The failures are quiet: an iron form that turns the stomach, a calcium or magnesium dose that cannot fit a single daily format, or a life-stage claim that drifts into treatment language and draws a regulator. We flag these at quotation stage — using gentle chelated iron forms that avoid ferrous-sulfate nausea, once-daily bone-support stacks, and claim wording that stays on the right side of the market.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity for iron tablets or gummies?
MOQ is confirmed per format and specification at quotation stage. Elemental load, salt choice, unit weight and packaging all move the figure, so send us the target dose and format for an exact number.
Which iron salt should I choose?
Bisglycinate for gentle, high-absorption positioning; fumarate for high elemental load in tablets; sulfate only for budget products. Tell us the position and claim and we will recommend a salt.
Can you match an 18 mg elemental iron claim exactly?
Yes. Give us the elemental figure and we will show you the salt weight, tablet or capsule count and cost behind it.
Do you produce iron gummies?
Yes, with a proper flavour mask to cover the metallic taste and an antioxidant system to prevent discoloration.
Is the product suitable for vegans?
Yes. Iron salts are vegan by nature; we offer HPMC capsules and pectin gummies so the finished product can carry a vegan claim.
How long does bulk production take?
We reply to enquiries within 24 hours and send a quotation within 48. Samples take 2-3 days, and standard bulk runs complete in 5–10 days with packaged goods leaving in 10–15 days.
DOSAGE FORMS
Which format should your Iron product take?
The same active can be delivered in several forms, and each one changes the fill weight, the taste profile and the tooling. We produce tablet, capsule, gummy and powder in-house, so the choice is driven by your market rather than by what a third party can supply.
